  • Content Generation: We use prompts and responses to generate content based on your instructions. This data may be stored temporarily to improve future generation, but you have the option to delete it within the app.

  • Cloud Storage: User prompts, responses, recipient email, and temporary content generated by the AI may be stored in secure cloud storage. You can delete this content within the app.

  • Third-Party Services: We use Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for more information on how Firebase handles data.

  • Security Measures: We employ industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encryption and secure coding practices.

Permissions

To provide certain functionalities, 21st Notebook may request access to the following permissions on your device:

  • Microphone (Optional): If you choose to use the speech-to-text feature for AI tools or chat, we will request microphone access to capture your voice for processing.

  • Notifications (Optional): We may request permission to send notifications for important updates, security alerts, or critical reminders related to your account or the app's functionalities (e.g., subscription renewal).

  • Gallery (Optional): If you choose to upload images within the app, we will request access to your device’s gallery. This permission is required solely for image uploads and will not be used for any other purpose.

Please note: We will only request these permissions when you choose to use the corresponding feature. We will explain why the permission is needed at the time of request within the app.

Your Rights

  • Access and Correction: You have the right to access and correct your account information stored on our cloud servers (if provided).

  • Data Deletion: You can delete your prompts, responses, and generated content within the app. For complete account deletion, please follow the account deletion process within the app.

Children’s Privacy

This app is intended for users above the age of 14. We recommend parental supervision for users under 18.

Data Retention Policy

We retain anonymous usage data for a reasonable period to improve the app. Crash data is retained by Firebase Crashlytics according to their policy (refer to Google's Privacy Policy). We will delete your prompts, responses, user data, and generated content upon your request or account deletion.
